Individual Therapy

Therapy should be attuned, culturally responsive, and transformative. My practice supports client goals for deep healing and the creation of a relationship with themselves and the world that feels aligned, powerful, and whole.

Couples Therapy

You deserve to feel deep emotional safety and connection in your most important relationships. Navigating difference and conflict does not have to result in alienation or crisis, given a commitment to unlearning, relearning, and the time and safe space provided by a therapist who meets you with clarity, empathy, and guidance.

Somatic Therapy

Somatic therapy works with the body's chronic stress and trauma responses, supporting the completion of these responses and our nervous system's orientation to safety, neutrality, and simple, wholesome pleasure. Somatic therapy incorporates body and mindfulness-based practices, and may be incorporated into or the primary focus of individual therapy.

About Maggie (she/her)

Therapy and the healing arts have been a huge part of my life, personally and professionally. The support and mentorship I have received over the past twenty years continue to inspire my passion for this work. Before entering the field of mental and relational health through Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT), my background was in clinical bodywork, somatic approaches to chronic stress and trauma, meditation, healing through movement, Buddhist studies, and nonprofit work.

FAQ

Do you take insurance?

  • As an associate provider I am unable to take insurance, but am happy to provider superbills (a receipt) to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement for out-of-network benefits. Out-of-network benefits for psychotherapy vary from plan-to-plan- I recommend calling your insurance to check.

What are your fees?

  • Individual therapy sessions are $125 and couples therapy sessions are $145, both per 55 minute clinical hour.

Do you offer in-person or telehealth?

  • Both! In-person clients are welcome to switch sessions to telehealth when needed, and vice versa.

Do you offer a free consultation call?

  • Yes! Please schedule a free, 20-minute call here. In this call we can explore our good fit by answering any questions you may have (for example, about the therapy process, my approach, or practical things like availability), and, sharing a bit about yourself, what you are struggling with, and what you're looking for.

Do you offer sliding scale rates?

  • I have a limited number of reduced rates spots, please inquire for availability.

What is the process for couples/relationship therapy?

  • We start with a free consultation call to determine good fit. Each party fills out intake paperwork, then we then come together for a first session. After the first session, I see each member of the couple or relationship for one individual session, before we come back together. Individual sessions are typical in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and allow the therapist to better understand and empathize with each person's perspective and history.

How do I set up a consult call?

  • You can book a free, 15-20 minutes consult call here.
